Our Story
It all began making traditional dishes and desserts in my mother's kitchen!
Welcome to A la Carte at home. My name is Allan and I run the business with my wife Lisa whilst bringing up our two amazing daughters, a cat and some fish. It is certainly a juggling act but we love being a family run business.
We are based in Cheshire East but can travel to you at the venue of choice which includes your own home. We also have a state of the art preparation kitchen where all the hard work takes place.
I started my career at the age of 15 all the way back in 1995, and worked my way up the ranks to Head Chef at a variety of venues from restaurants, a university, wedding venues and then decided to start my own business in August 2020 when A la Carte at home was born.
Lisa has also been in the industry since she was 16 and has managed all customer facing aspects throughout her career.
We believe our knowledge, skills and values create a great team to provide our customers with amazing food which is delivered to a high standard. We love nothing more than getting to know you and providing a service that suits you.
